Beijing, China — October 16, 2025 At a pivotal moment in the global energy transition, Midea is redefining how energy connects to life. At the Integrated Ecosystem Strategic Partners Conference — “Hi Future, Rebuild the Comfort”, jointly hosted by Midea Hiconics and Midea Building Technologies (MBT) in Beijing, Midea outlined a new vision for the energy era — the PV–Storage–Heat–Flex ecosystem, where electricity, heat, and intelligence work together to deliver comfort, resilience, and sustainability.
This marks not just a technological advance, but Midea’s commitment to shaping a more connected and intelligent energy future.
In his keynote address, Mr. Shen Ron, General Manager of Midea Hiconics, shared the theme “Energy Links All — A New Era of Integration.” “The next stage of the energy transition isn’t about individual devices,” he said. “It’s about systems that interact and respond together. When photovoltaics, storage, heat, and flexibility are unified, homes become power producers, buildings become efficient ecosystems, and communities become resilient energy networks.”
He highlighted how carbon-neutral goals, price volatility, and growing grid pressure are pushing the industry from fragmented technologies toward intelligent, connected systems that can balance both energy security and comfort.

Through joint sessions, Midea Hiconics demonstrated how this concept is being realized through innovation. At the center stand two flagship solutions — PowerInfi, an all-in-one home energy storage system, and PowerX1, a modular split hybrid solution for residential and small commercial applications.
The PowerInfi all-in-one system integrates inverter, battery, and control into a compact, easy-to-deploy unit for both single- and three-phase homes, supporting fast switching and VPP participation. The PowerX1 split hybrid system offers modular flexibility and compatibility with multiple energy sources, making it suitable for varied regional grids and small commercial sites.
Both systems are designed to integrate seamlessly with Midea’s heat pumps, creating a unified home energy ecosystem that intelligently balances power and heat. Through the HiEco Smart Energy Platform, users can manage PV, storage, and thermal systems in one app, supported by smart operation modes — including Green Energy, Time-of-Use, and Dynamic Tariff — that optimize comfort, cost, and efficiency in real time.
A key moment of the conference was the release of the White Paper on IEasyEnergy Energy Solutions (PV · Storage · Heat · Flexibility) — the first comprehensive study to map how system integration is transforming household and building energy use.
The report highlights how unified home energy systems can raise energy self-sufficiency from 30% to over 70%, reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 40%, and boost energy ratings and property value — proving that integration delivers both environmental and economic impact. It also calls for closer collaboration across the energy value chain to accelerate intelligent electrification worldwide.
Attendees experienced the concept in action through a live installation and commissioning demonstration, which showcased how Midea Hiconics’s energy storage systems can be deployed quickly and efficiently — from setup to full operation within 10 minutes.
Guests also visited Midea Hiconics’ production and testing facilities, gaining first hand insight into how engineering, control software, and field deployment are developed as one continuous process.
For Midea, integration is not a trend — it is a belief in how the world should work: connected, intelligent, and human. By linking renewable energy, comfort, and digital intelligence, Midea is shaping an ecosystem where technology serves people — and energy serves life. “The champion will be the company that provides the most intelligent, reliable, and open operating system for the sustainable home,” said Mr. Rong Shen, General Manager of Midea Hiconics. Because the future of energy will not be defined by how much we generate, but by how wisely we connect — turning power into possibility, and sustainability into shared progress.
